The knee pain is back again today so I've decided that I'm going to try doing the Shred every other day until it recovers fully. That and because I'm going out tonight and want to wear heels, I don't want to damage it beforehand! I figure that doing the Shred every other day is still better than nothing and since I'm in the office next week, I'm planning to hit the gym every morning so I can do the cross trainer and strengthen my knee without jolting it. Have any of you had any problems with your knees (or at all for that matter!) while you've been doing the Shred?
I only lasted 6 days on the Shred (mainly cos I thought "I'll have a one day break" then never put it back on again!) but I did hate the lunges because of the pain it gave me in my knees :-( every other day is definitely better than nothing but don't carry on if it's really doing some damage!x
ReplyDeleteYeah, I pretty much came to the conclusion that it was just best to go to the gym and do the cross trainer instead - much better on the knees! Might try and start up the Shred again after holiday, and see how doing it every other day goes instead, now that my knee has recovered! x
