Project 365: #141 Nail varnish addiction

I spent this weekend tidying my bedroom and sorting out all my old study notes which I no longer need - the plan being that if I start to clear out some stuff now, it'll be that much easier when we actually buy a house and it comes to packing up my things to move out.  My bedside table was a bit of a state - it tends to become a bit of a dumping ground for things that I can't be bothered to find a home for before I go to bed, and since it's actually the top of my chest of drawers, it's pretty big (hence it collects even more stuff!)  Now granted, I do always sit on my bed to paint my nails, and I have been changing colours a lot recently, but this is probably a bit of an excessive number of bottles to have found just out on my bedside table?  Whoops!

Project 365: #133 My first Deborah Lippmann polish

I've heard a lot of good things about Deborah Lippmann nail varnishes, so when I received Razzle Dazzle in my December GlossyBox, I couldn't wait to try it out!  It took three coats to get the look I wanted, which seemed like rather a lot, but it was incredibly chip resistant - it took 8 days before I had any chips at all which I thought was pretty impressive!  A perfect nail varnish for Christmas parties!

Free Nails Inc!

Another hot deal today for you all - Glamour magazine are giving away a free full size Nails Inc varnish this month.  Colours available are Tate (red), Victoria (deep red), Piccadilly Circus (plum) and Basil Street (beige).  Another great magazine deal - what's going on this month?  I'm definitely not complaining though :)

Project 365: #035 OMP! Nails

I thought I'd test out one of the new nail varnishes I got the other day - somehow the photo has made it look bright orange, but I actually used the coral one called OMP! rather than Atomic.  Still, I'm quite pleased with it - in some light it looks red, coral in others and clearly when I took this photo, orange!  Think I'll be using this on holiday though - it should go quite well with a tan!  Have any of you got the free nail varnishes from Fabulous?  What do you think?

Project 365: #033 Nails Inc duo

You may remember my post a few weeks ago about 2 Nails Inc varnishes for £3 through buying News Of The World.  Now after all the phone hacking scandal, I definitely didn't want to be buying the newspaper and seeming to support it but thankfully I'd already collected enough vouchers to get the nail varnish beforehand.  I picked them up this evening and although I'm not sure how likely I am to use the bright orange, I'm really quite liking the pinky coral colour - this will definitely be featuring on my nails quite a lot this summer I think!

Project 365: #020 Manchester Square nails

This photo has come out very similar to my Walton Street nails that I did a couple of weeks ago, but it's using my new Manchester Square nail varnish.  I'm a little disappointed with the colour, simply because it looks so different to the picture on Nails Inc's website - I was expecting it to be more purpley than it is.  That said, I love bright pink - it's much brighter than Walton Street so think I'll be using this quite a lot this summer!

As you will see from my last post, I love Nails Inc nail varnishes, so when I had an email telling me that I could get 2 for £3, I was very excited and knew I had to share it with you all!  News Of The World are going to be doing vouchers in their Fabulous magazine section on Sundays (19th & 26th June, 3th & 10th July) and if you collect 3 (each paper costs £1), you can trade them in at Tesco between 3rd & 11th July for hot pink and coral nail varnishes (I don't know what colour exactly I'm afraid - hot pink and coral are as much as I know, but they will be full size rather than those disappointing sample size ones!)  I'm definitely going to be getting mine!

Project 365: #006 Hot pink nails

I decided while I was at work today that I was going to paint my nails tonight - it took me a lot longer to decide what colour though!  I eventually settled on Nails Inc Walton Street.  I can't get enough of this colour and wear it on my toes most of the time, but I tend to change the colour I wear on my fingernails much more often - I guess I see my hands more so get bored of the colour quicker!  I've been having a look at the Nails Inc website over the last couple of days though, and think that I might have to buy their limited edition Manchester Square polish - I love it!
